Came in with the kids and had a nice time. It's an average sized museum with several exhibits ranging from toys and mechanics to local history. There was also a great Lego competition that the kids enjoyed. We'll priced.

by the shore of Fairy Lake (really! such a great name), this museum has a good history of Canada and Cdn Aboriginals, not just the area. Lots of interactive exhibits making it great for families and children. A perfect rainy day activity.

We went on the weekend with my 2 daughters, 12 and 8. The toy exhibit was pretty neat. The rest of the museum was great to check out the various things. The only thing that was disappointing was the Bruce County floor. I thought with Canada's 150th there would have been a neat exhibit but there was not. There are neat art items to look at though in the gallery there. Otherwise a good experience and would recommend to others.

Nice collection. Includes lots of fossils found in the area... also First Peoples artifacts and local history. There's an archive wing for local research. The patio behind the building has lots of picnic tables that look out over a pretty pond. There are also two relocated log cabins--an old school house and a residence--that you can walk through. Going through the residence, it was amazing to imagine that 11 people once lived in that little house.I also liked the special fabric art exhibit.

Been here a couple times. This place is unique and for a small town has a big museum. It has variety and some displays change. Kids will like it and visitors won't be disappointed.
