PEI is full of potatoes and beaches. This one of the nicest (beaches). Even off season it is impressive.

During my trip in August 2018 I was very pleased with this beach, having to pay a per person entrance fee was annoying to get into the area, but overall the beach was very relaxing and the water was great.
Title pretty much sums it up. Amazing to see the red rocks that are all formed along the coast. The fresh salt water smell doesn't even feel like your in Canada at all
What a way to spend an hour of peace and quiet time together as a couple, strolling along the beach and enjoying the wonders of natural view.
So clean and beautiful! Gorgeous sand and dunes and views. Water was pretty chilly at the end of September, but it was a lovely visit!
Along our road trip adventure, we stopped at Cavendish, which was a popular beach location in my husband's childhood summers at PEI. Being that it was early September and beyond Labor Day, there was no admission charge. It was also a cloudy, damp day when we visited, though the air remained warm in our walks along the beach. It was a fairly easy walk and some of our party remained above the board walk area. Interesting flora, rocks, shells, and sea life. It was a great stop along our journey.
