Excellent food, great prices. I highly recommend this place. You get a lot of food for your money. Friendly staff and it is very clean. This is my favourite spot to go for Chinese food.

We’ve had many Friday night dinners here and this was by far the most disappointing. Food was hot but dry and unlike previous dinners of the same dishes. Disappointed that it’s not consistent?

The food is ok but the service and experience is garbage, they don’t care about the customer at all, rude and short, I love the food but would suggest trying any other restaurant, I have been treated better at Mac Donald’s!!!!

Chinese food is always hit and miss. You can visit the same restaurant 3 times and have 3 different experiences. I have always found that from this type of restaurant. Today was a decent encounter. We ordered take out for 18 people. It was ready on time and it was still hot when we got it home. Most of the food was quite good. The chicken balls and the jumbo shrimp were a little soggy. Price was excellent. $296. And we had lots of leftovers.

The Royal Garden offers some of the best Chinese food in PEI. Now I must qualify this statement. When I say the best, I mean in North American style Chinese food. If you are looking for what we think Chinese food is, then this place has it. However, if you are looking for more authentic Chinese cuisine, then there are places that offer a more genuine menu. The ingredients are very fresh and the flavor is quite good. Some of these restaurants can be hit and miss but the Royal Garden so far has been pretty consistent.
