This is an old hotel that was built for sailors who got stuck when the port froze. It has been refurbished and turned into a great B&B by the owner Richard who is very hospitable and helpful. Our rooms were on the third floor and Richard helped us carry our luggage up. The rooms were very comfortable, actually suites with sitting room, bedroom and bath.
I was a little concerned before we arrived because the rooms are not air conditioned, but it does not matter. We were there during what they considered a heat wave, but the room were very comfortable with the window fan and the breeze off the ocean.
Richard prepared the BEST breakfasts each morning. We were there 4 days and did not want to leave. Patricia also was wonderful. After telling her what we wanted to drink every morning, she had it ready for us the rest of the time. And both were very helpful when we had questions about things to do on PEI.More
