We spent a lovely night and morning at Petit Felix on a weekend getaway in the La Malbaie region. The cottage has a cute and welcoming atmosphere, no doubt helped by the excellent hospitality offered by Miguel and Yves. Breakfast was delicious (and all local produce), the rooms very nicely furnished, we had a lovely view of the water, and slept really well. The bathroom was very clean and full of fresh towels and soaps. Could not recommend it more - thank you Miguel and Yves for making us feel at home! It really made our weekend!

Situated in a cul de sac with parking and views of the Gulf this is a very cute place to stay. It is excellent value and although the bathroom is shared it is spacious and sharing isn't a problem. The location is quiet but close to town (5 minutes drive). Yves is very helpful and you will especially enjoy the breakfasts which are carefully prepared and different each day.

The best place so far where we could stay in our canadian trip. The rooms are awesome and evryone has little touch. The breakfast is almost gastronomic.
You really get a boutique hotel experience for a small price

coming down the stairs towards the kitchen at 745 in the morning my sister in law just said that she wished her husband would dress a nice table like they had done but was nastly greeted with a big shhhh and Yves pointed to a door as if someone was sleeping not a single word of explanation i almost went back in to tell them what i thought of them not wanting to ruin everybody elses day i counted to ten got our luggage out of the room and left what kind of people treat their clients that way needless to say they must not have any respect for people to act that way

When we greet our guests, we have a few basic instructions we communicate to them as we take them to their rooms. The first one, is we identify the number of rooms and bathrooms in the house and how many will be occupied that night. Since our guests enter through the main floor's front door, we show them the bedroom that is next to the dining room and make it a point to identify that a couple will be occupying the room. The rest of the visit has to do with, amenities, breakfast hours, allergies and so forth.
Having said that, the morning of the incident to which these clients refer, the main floor bedroom was occupied by still sleeping guests.

Sorry to tell you that respect is a 2 way street. Our standards are such, that we respect our clients desire for a full nights sleep and quiet. The great majority of our guests are well aware that this is a B&B and other people are sharing the premises.

All 4 of you when coming down the stairs started laughing and talking very loudly (at 7:15, when breakfast is served between 7:30 and 9:00) when seeing the magnificent table that had been set that morning for breakfast, when were both in back of the kitchen counter still putting the finishing touches to the breakfast. And yes, we "shushed" you down as we could not get to you fast enough. It was done in a very convivial way. Our humour is the same every morning as the other 60 odd very positive comments will attest.
Thank you for having dissapeared, leaving us with 4 breakfast preparations to throw out.
May we suggest a motel the next time. This type of accomodation will certainly meet your needs to spend a loud and boisterous time between friends.

We stayed at Le Petit Felix just for one night, during our trip through Quebec. We stayed in a room called "Le Minuit", a double bed room with a shared bathroom; eveything is cleand and all furnished. Free parking outside. Nice position on the river.
The breakfast is one of the best we have eaten : yogurth with cereals and fruit, omelette with vegetables (potatoes, mushrooms), tomatoes with pesto souce and local chees. Everything prepared by Yves at the moment.
Miguel and Yves are two very nice people, they gave us suggestions about what to visit and where to eat for dinner. Very helpful!
