This is a charming, heritage house with wonderful hosts. We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at Gite Dentelles et Pignons. Pierre and Suzanne made us feel very comfortable and provided us with lots of helpful information for touring the Charlevoix area. Pierre's recommendation to dine at Restaurant L'Orchidee was a very good one. Also Suzanne's breakfasts were outstanding with several hot entree choices. She has a real flair for food presentation and home decorating.Traveling with our adult daughter, we shared a room that had 2 double beds. It was a bit small for us but we very much appreciated that the hosts were willing to accommodate us. The washroom is shared but that was not a problem. We felt that this B&B was well priced.
We were very glad that we chose to stay in La Malbaie on our first tour of the Charlevoix area, and that we got to stay at his lovely gite.

Room tip: A choice of 4 rooms; all uniquely decorated and in a different colour palatte; one room has 2 double beds; shared bathroom.

Pierre was an absolute model host. Whether it was what to see, where to pick something up, making reservations for you or just chatting and being the very best tourist ambassador you can imagine, He was amazing. The Inn was Louis Riel's lawyers home from 100+ years ago. Breakfast was outstanding enough to cover lunch as well. LaMalbaie was central enough to use as a hub to cover the Quebec City to the Tadoussac area. It was a great place to stay and if we returned to the area, I would stay here again.
