This is a pleasant place to pass an evening before the theater (during the Mont Laurier bi-annual theater festival). Chances are the place will be full of actors and other members of the theatre groups visiting the town. The menu is varied and there are many special of the day. It is fine food dining, and unlike the other places I encountered on the Route 117 it is located in a nice part of town. There is a good view into the Mont Laurier Cathedral and it is within walking distance from the main street.
I had a good potage and a fish dish with vegetables cooked just right. The service was friendly and warm. Seating was very comfortable especially next to the windows. The menu includes French style dishes as well as Pasta plates. There is a choice of deserts, and a wine list. Prices are quite affordable. Certainly will go back when up in town for the next festival.
