Hidden gem

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jul 15, 2022via mobile
Very nice motel. Amazing beach front, clean and well maintained, quiet, family friendly. Best value for the money!
The Laurent river view is amazing, They let you make fire on the beach (you can arrange at reception, in advance, for wood).
The kids were roaming free on the beach, chasing birds, picking pebbles, watching the seals.
The personnel is very friendly and helpful.
We have been traveling for quite time lately, and , in my opinion this is a hidden gem.
The only fear I have is that the owners won’t be able to keep it the way it is…

Beautiful view of the sea and sunset from dining room. Go there for those.
To eat? Choose from the Table d’Hôte!
Prices are ridiculously high for the quality level of food and service.
My plate was too cool by the time it got to my table.
The filet mignon steak had too much waiting time. Got to me over cooked… 😓 so did my friend’s plate.
ps: The salmon entrée was good but hold the sauce. Desserts were good.

The location is perfect! Directly on the waterfront providing breathless sunsets. Its also about 30-40 minutes drive to the hiking section of Parc de la Gaspésie.
The room is clean and spacious.
The hotel restaurant offers 10% discout for guests. Beware, Sunday brunch is popular and attracts many locals. Massive lineup...

This motel is in a good position on the waterfront. It is on a residential road but only a couple of hundred yards from the main road so access is very easy. The room was large with two queen beds but it was a little dated and dark. There are patio doors onto the grass where there are tables which are shared - one table to two rooms. There was a coffee machine, fridge and microwave in the room, but no crockery or cutlery. The restaurant has a wonderful view but we did not eat there so cannot comment on the standard of food. Sainte Anne des Monts is a reasonable size town for this area and there are supermarkets, petrol stations, restaurants and a launderette (which does not sell washing liquid or powder so make sure to take your own or buy some from the supermarket across the road).

The fellow who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The motel is right on the water and we could hear it at night, which was really pleasant. The room was nice and the bathroom looked newly renovated. We were very happy with our stay.

This hotel has a wonderful location right on the St. Lawrence River. You can walk out your back porch onto a small patio with lawn chairs and a picnic table. It's an easy walk to the beach. Very pleasant atmosphere. We didn't eat in the restaurant because of the poor reviews, but we went there for breakfast on Saturday corner table with a spectacular view of the Saint Lawrence and an excellent breakfast.

The hotel is clearly dated, but it did have a mini fridge and a hot plate as well as coffee in the room. There's free parking right out front and they had very nice service.
