Excellent!!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Aug 22, 2018
We stayed here for two nights and loved the place. We rented a cabin which was spacious, had kitchen, very nicely decorated with attractive furniture, deck, etc. The entire complex is extremely well maintained and everything is sparkling clean. There is a play area for children along with a mini golf course. It's right on the water. The staff are very nice and friendly. There is a restaurant on site where breakfast can be purchased. We recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

We were impressed with Beaurivage. The location is pristine and they have maximised its usage, When you step out of your back door, you have the choice to walk to the beach, sit at tables and chairs scattered around the well maintained property, lots of interesting sculptures, boats, children safe area for playing and adult space for BBQ.
The room was a good size, immaculate with a small fridge and flat screen tv with multiple choice of cable tv, WIFI was available and free.
We had two double beds with boutique hotel grade linen.
We had a nice breakfast which was not included in the price.

. . . and better than some. The motel is nicely situated on the shores of the St. Lawrence River, on the outskirts of the town of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts and far enough removed from route 132 to allow for peace and quiet. In a way, it reminds me of the motels and cabins that used to dot the landscapes along the shores of the Gaspé Peninsula so characteristic of the late fifties and sixties.

Our room was probably one of the oldest ones, a throwback to the sixties, with wooden slats on walls and ceilings, but well equipped, clean, with two comfortable double beds, flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi and a view of the river, . . . but no air conditioning! Good thing we stayed here before the interminable heat wave this year. Other rooms are newer or renovated. Some have fully equipped kitchenettes. Picnic tables and Adirondack chairs are spread out over the immense lawn between motel and the shore, and were accessible through a rather worn-out backdoor of the room, with a Mini golf at the front of the motel. Breakfast was served in a pleasant, brightly lit veranda-type dining room, but was not included in the price. Nevertheless, with the rates being what they are, it is good value. Looks like a tightly run place.

I really like this beach side motel. No, it doesn’t offer 5-Star amenities, but they do have a very nice facility in a great location.

The rooms in the 300s seem to be larger and newer. Spacious, freshly painted and nicely furnished. The rooms are located the furthest from the beach but the view across the lawn to the water is very nice. The bathroom is small with the sink out in the room. There is a tub with a shower head.

Other rooms get progressively closer to the beach but they look older and smaller. It was evident that at least some (maybe all?) of the older rooms were getting new bathroom tile.

Everything is very clean. WiFi was good. No pool. It looks like a good place to just let the kids run. There’s a large grassy expanse, mini-golf, a playground and a lot of beach. The cabins look like a good bet for those with families. although you lose the beach view, the water is not far away.

We booked a semi-detached cottage with kitchenette. Our cottage was very clean and and nicely decorated. We walked the beautiful grounds and enjoyed the views of the St-Lawrence. Other than lack of recycling, we were very pleased with our accommodations and would not hesitate to recommend Motel Beaurivage, especially the little cottages!

A little away from the town makes the beach very private. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Restaurant only had breakfast but excellent food with very good service and reasonable priced. Beach and sunsets are highlights.
