Beautiful colonial style boutique hotel in the historical centre of Patzcuaro, Michoacan, one of Mexico's amazing 'pueblos magicos'. A bit expensive, in oarti in a place with many other good and beautiful hotels, but very special, private, quiet and exclusive.

My wife and I had an awesome time in Patzcuaro! Such a lovely town, with great food and welcoming people. La Siranda was the perfect place to stay; amazing mexican style house with a relaxing inside patio and walking distance to the Plaza (it´s a must to try the "nieve de pasta" ice cream). We are definitely going back!

Can´t exagerate what a lucky find Siranda was for me. Has the perfect combination of sophistication but with a local -almost magical taste. Staff are incredibly welcoming and the overall experience quickly makes you feel like you´re at a friend´s home, as opposed to a hotel. Can´t wait to go back and can´t recommend it enough.

After an absence of six years, I finally made it back to La Siranda and what a pleasure it was to return. The tranquility of the hôtel, combined with its exquisitely tasteful rooms, delicious food and impeccably polite and friendly staff really made my ten day stay there remarkably restful and replenishing. I absolutely adore the terrace overlooking the natural spring and walled gardens, from where you can watch the dancing humming birds and shy scuttling lizards. La Siranda is literally a stone's throw away from the Plaza grande, cafés, craft shops and markets. Patzcuaro itself is a wonderful launch pad to visit Santa Clara del Cobre, the Yacatas pyramids and a whole host of indigenous villages surrounding el Lago de Patzcuaro. Once you've stayed in La Siranda, you won't want to stay anywhere else in town and the only downside for me is that I'd have liked to have stayed there longer. When I get round to writing my novel, I can't think of a better place to write it than here...

Great quaint place, with a really good taste decoration, in a perfect location. Incredible mexican homemade food, by the hands of the lovely people who attends. The perfect place to relax, and enjoy that magical and quaint town. Simply the better place is Patzcuaro.
