We traveled as a family of 4 - Mom, Dad, and 2 teen daughters. We would recommend this tour by far. We walked from the cruise ship to their building using their map they sent before we left. We kind of wondered if we were heading the right way but the walk wasn't too far - just keep going, you'll see it on your left from the cruise terminal. The bus we rode in appeared to be fairly new and was very comfortable. The ride to the ruins was around 40 mins or so and I initially wondered if it would be a dull ride but our guide told us lots of information about the area, history, answered questions and did a wonderful job. The ride went quickly. We arrived at the ruins and enjoyed touring around. Our guide gave us information and time to explore - even took our pics for us. Next stop was at the Mayan home and gardens for lunch. We toured the gardens and loved learning about the garden and what all they grow there and we were amazed by how much they are able to do and grow. Our lunch consisted of us learning how (or at least trying) to form our own tortillias and seeing how they are "cooked". The food was great and we truly enjoyed our time there and with the ladies that served the meal. Everyone took a siesta on the way back to the cruise terminal (except myself, the driver, and one of our daughters :) ). This tour is well worth the time and money to do and we were very pleased!!! Edder and Edgar were our guide and driver (not sure I've spelled correctly).
