Description: Our Cafe is tricky to find at the back of The Mill Yard by the river, but deserves to be found for all sorts of reasons.... Based in the old Bobbin Loft with some of the old line workings still in place, we have traditional seating plus a cozy sofa area inside plus decking over looking the river Kent for warmer days.

A good stop for coffee and bacon butties after an early start from West Yorkshire. Spacious, but with cosy seating. A very extensive menu.

Over priced £1.50 for a can of pop?.. I think is a little steep. Had a jacket potato takeaway - all I can say is my fist was double the size - very disappointing - would not go again.

We stopped here for a leisurely lunch and coffee. There is a stunning decking outside which overlooks the water.
The menu isn't huge, but does the trick and prices are reasonable.
We enjoyed a jacket potato and the veg chili, with delicious chocolate milkshakes. The cakes looked great but we were too full!

We went here specifically after finding it recommended on TripAdviser, and we weren’t disappointed! Great value breakfasts, which come with a drink and toast, for a great price. It was raining heavily, but we still had a quick look at the views which must be amazing on a sunny day.

This cafe is located next to the Hawkshead Brewery and backs on to a river, where tables overlook a small weir. There is even a small fish ladder built into the weir to allow the fish to swim upstream and spawn.

The food is excellent and all locally sourced including sausages from the local butchers and bread that is baked on the premises.

The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. They have a very big range of breakfast items including a full vegetarian option.

this is a great little cafe off the beaten path just outside Staveley.

There is easy parking directly outside which is free for two hours.
