Hotel was clean, comfortable, relatively quiet considering it was Easter weekend, check in was easy and staff were friendly.
However it is worth knowing that unlike other premier inns, their attached restaurant isn’t a brewed fayre or a Table Table. It is “Thyme”, premier inn own brand. The one is ulverston is set up well for breakfast but as for dinner, it feels like a breakfast room serving dinner food. Only one couch area that can seat 4 people & one other booth that can seat 4 and the rest are tables and chairs. Not comfortable for staying long at - you literally eat and retire to your room!
As for the food, well it is basically reheated food and it isn’t appetising. We paid the same money for 3 of us in a Pizza express that we did at “Thyme” and had a much better dinner.
From what we hear it’s worth going into ulverston town which is a 15 min walk away to an Indian or the ‘Amigos’ Mexican restaurant.

You always know what to expect with a Premier Inn, and as this is quite a new one - it was fresh / smart / modern. Service from everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. Rooms have no safes, no phones and no fridges - but that is reflected in the reasonable price. In terms of location, this one is about a 10-15 walk from the centre of the action in Ulverston in a slightly industrial area on the edge of a residential spot, and at night it is not well lit or busy - so probably not something you would want to do on your own (as a female anyway). During the day time - not a problem. Good quiet location in terms of sleep quality though, although the pillows are not great (a bit flat). We opted for breakfast in the hotel as there isn't anything else in the immediate vicinity - but reckon it is good value for a hotel breakfast. Great spot from which to explore the Lake District without being inundated with other tourists.

We stayed here on the second night the hotel was open, was really nice place and great everything being so new. Noticed a few teething problems with the staff but that’s to be expected with a new team, duty manager was great.
Location is a little out of the way, but nice nether the less. Would definitely return

Excellent experience and would certainly re-visit.

Plenty of parking, rooms are new and clean also.
