Had such a lovely time here, so relaxing and everybody there was welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to help.
Was apprehensive about the food but couldn’t believe how fab it was! Staff put on such a good spread every meal.
Really felt at home here, everywhere was clean and homely. The pictures and statues around the building were stunning!
The town of Ulverston is only a short walk and the scenery in the way down is beautiful, not to mention that the beach is only a 5 minute walk away!
Really enjoyed the weekend, came away feeling much better than when I went in. Thankyou for such a lovely time, will definitely visit again.

The moment you step onto the ground of the priory you feel the calm serenity taking you over.

The monks that live here seem to have found the secret to happiness and they all smile and take the time to talk to you.

Just walking around the grounds fills you with an inner peace. The Temple itself is magnificent and not like anything you will have see in the UK. There are short meditation sessions as well as courses and also tours available.

The café is also a great place to eat and relax.

Just brilliant!

Thoroughly enjoyed attending a course on ‘Learning how to smile’ in this beautiful setting. Friendly Buddhists, very informative, tasty food - I’ll definitely be back!
Certainly take the time to visit if you’re in the area.
