As in the title: Good service, vfm and handy location for the peaks. Friendly and helpful service throughout. Lucky to get a family size room for the 2 of us. As usual, all very clean, warm and quiet. Dog friendly too. Handy location for some nice bars and shops. Easy access for Edale for the start of the Pennine Way (25 mins) or the moors. Very professional staff and extremely helpful in arranging to send back a left jacket. You can't go wrong here imo.

Sort out the basic facilities which would make the room comfortable, do not like living out of suitcaseAs stated earlier, no wardrobe, no drawers to put away clothes, not at all easy to bend to suitcase on floor.

Have stayed here several times and it is exactly as you would expect from Travelodge. It is also conveniently situated close to the station in the centre of the town and there is free parking. Also a Wetherspoons is on the ground floor - but if you want a real ale try 'The Star' or 'The Crown' - both are very good; the latter is also well worth the extra few minutes walk.

I stayed at the Travelodge this month and I can’t fault them at all. The fire alarm was triggered at 4am and due to this that was no fault of the hotel many of my party were given complimentary late check in for no extra charge. The beds were comfy and the room was lovely and warm on returning from a cold night out in Manchester. Overall I had a great stay and would both stay here again and highly recommends. Parking is free also and very close to the hotel

Great location and excellent value for money. Easy access to Peak District, train into Manchester or simply stay in town to visit many of the lovely bars and restaurants. Don't miss Harvey Leonards for some amazing beers and good simple food platters
