We stayed one night to celebrate our engagement and was very disappointed with the room, mould around sink, paint peeling & kettle very dirty/limescale, dinner was very average & the Camembert looked like a childs plate. Offered 50% off for the troubles but still an over priced travel lodge

We are, however, sorry that our food, and the quality of the room itself has let you down on this occasion and was not up to your expectations of us here at The Hoste. Both of which have been addressed with the team directly to ensure we continue to improve moving forward.

I wrote a review back in August after staying at this amazing hotel! We loved it so much we wanted to come back.
We stayed at The Hoste last weekend to celebrate my mums 80th! Given their ages I was a little concerned about the rustic charm of the Hoste. Also, I was concerned as we were told after booking that some building works had to be carried out on the conservatory, which both our rooms overlooked. I was reassured that it didn’t look like a building site and no work would be carried out over our stay due to it being a weekend.
On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly guy on reception. He offered to carry our bags and show us to our rooms.
Both rooms were immaculate and fully equipped with biscuits, drinks, snacks, a kettle and coffee machine, including fresh milk in the little retro fridge.
As a lovely surprise for my mum they had put a little birthday cake in her room.
They managed to cover up the building work so well that it didn’t impact our stay in anyway.
The waiting staff were so friendly and welcoming and the was food amazing!!
We spent time in the little lounge upstairs, watching the rugby and drinking coffee.
My mum had the best birthday and we all had the most wonderful time.
We just wished we could have stayed longer.
We will definitely be booking again and hopefully get time for the spa and cinema!

We stayed here last week on a one-night Black Friday offer we bought last November.
Check in was at 4pm and we had a room that catered for our dog. The room came with a few dog treats and was ideal for us.
The package included a late Sunday meal and we had the set menu which was very nice. Also included were some drink tokens.
Bedroom and all facilities were spot-on, and breakfast the following morning was very nice - served in the bar area. Breakfast is all waiter-served which takes quite a bit longer than a self-serve but if you’re not in a rush it’s fine. Cooked breakfast was top notch.
All in all an excellent stay for us in a lovely hotel in a great village.
There are a couple of EV chargers for anyone turning up in an electric vehicle.

An extremely well run hotel and all the staff were very helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We stayed for one night and we will definitely be back for sure. Great location as well for visiting areas of stunning beauty in the surrounding area.

We just spent the most wonderful three nights at The Hoste Arms in beautiful Burnham Market. The staff were so lovely, friendly and professional and couldn’t do enough to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel have their own dear little cinema with popcorn and we were delighted to watch the Six Nations on the big screen. Can’t speak highly enough of this beautiful hotel which gets everything right. Gorgeous spotless room, lovely spa treatment, great service from lovely friendly staff. Will be returning (again).
