We have just enjoyed a 4 night stay at the Hoste and have had a wonderful time. On arrival we were given a complimentary upgrade which was a great start to our first visit to Norfolk - room, food and staff were as one would expect from a hotel such as the Hoste and we shall definitely be returning at some point in the future. Really good experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful, bedroom was spotlessly clean and the comfiest beds and pillows of any hotel we have been to. Good breakfast and freshly cooked

Last minute Booking direct with the hotel at a bargain price . Stayed at the Vine House opposite free parking and beautifully presented . Fantastic friendly welcome and atmosphere , had so much to offer was disappointed we only booked one night !
Only criticism was the bed was too high for me to, but saying that I’m only 5 foot ! So maybe all beds are 🤣 Breakfast was lovely the whole experience was wonderful … highly recommended

Lovely hotel, decor in room and throughout the hotel was very good. Breakfast was excellent (had the veggie cooked breakfast) always surprise's me when a hotel doesn’t provide a veggie or vegan option in this day and age… lovely guest lounges dotted about throughout the place and the service from the staff was always first class… definitely returning in the future and would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in north Norfolk.

A lovely stay on a 2 day break. Nice room although the shower was very small. Very good breakfast. The resident lounge is a good idea but means to get a drink you have to pop down the stairs. We didn’t eat dinner as Burnham Market has other great restaurants. Socious and Number 29. We are dog owners but didn’t take our lab but the hotel is clearly dog friendly!!

When relaxing in our upstairs residents lounge area, our guests are more than welcome to enjoy complimentary teas and coffees from the 'help yourself' machine upstairs. However, as you have mentioned, this area does not offer table service, and any further beverages required i.e from the bar area, does need to be ordered directly with the team at the bar.
Although we are pleased that your two nights stay was lovely - enjoying the room itself, and the very good breakfast we serve, we are sorry to hear that you found the shower to be rather small.
