“Charming & cosy cottage”
Reviewed April 4, 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Our second stay at The Bolthole, and unlikely to be our last. The attention to detail in the decor makes it a charming place. Ideal for a couple as long as you don’t mind the steep staircase to the bedroom and bathroom.

hi David. glad you had a great stay. you're welcome back anytime.
Yes stairs are steep, typically 'Norfolk winder'. Cottage not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, but i do say that. see you soon I hope.

“Gorgeous, quaint cottage in a lovely area”
Reviewed March 5, 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Fabulous layout, comfortable cottage. Nice and warm on a cold weekend. Well equipped with everything you would need. Little welcome pack of wine, bread and milk which was a lovely surprise. Good shower, comfy bed. Lots of throws and blankets if needed for extra cosiness. Cute back garden which would be lovely on a summers evening.
We walked on some local beaches, enjoyed the local eateries
Easy access to Snettisham village - we ate at the Old Bank and Rose and Crown. Both recommended.
Lovely, lovely place to stay. Sarah was very good at keeping in touch prior to our arrival.
Recommend 100%.

“Relaxing cosy cottage”
Reviewed February 18, 2018 for a stay in February 2018

The Bolthole is in the quaint village of Snettisham, a village that is both quiet but with good facilities. The Bolthole is an endearing little cottage, perfect for couples (plus dog!) and in an excellent location as there is threre is the village to explore but the beach less than a mile away with the wonderful Snettisham common woodlands to walk through on the way. Local facilities are good: Hunstanton is the nearest town a couple of miles away. The cottage is well-equipped and has everything you need to make yourself at home: the fireplace with a small supply of wood and coal is a lovely touch. We had a very relaxing and peaceful few days here; plenty of long walks and good meals out too. Would definitely return to The Bolthole.

“a gem of a cottage”
Reviewed January 20, 2018 for a stay in January 2018

Near the woods with beach within walking distance, this cottage is well-situated. It was warm and cosy after a days walking. And we could bring our dog.

“Excellent place to stay”
Reviewed November 22, 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Great location in West Norfolk great for walking at places like Heacham nature reserve, Castle Rising and local to visit places like Sandringham, Kings Lynn and Hunstanton.
Lovely cottage warm & homely , small courtyard garden enclosed ideal for dogs and owner had left a bottle of wine when we arrived also milk coffee tea .
Parking available nearby where you can which is the only niggle but wasn’t a problem other than that I’d recommend this to to anyone wanting to stay in West Norfolk a lovely cottage and good location .

“Lovely home-from-home”
Reviewed November 8, 2017 for a stay in November 2017

We have just returned from a lovely 5-day break in north Norfolk with our two dogs. The cottage is very clean, homely and cosy; a lovely place to return to after some glorious days on some spectacular beaches all within a short drive.
