Bad experience:
Room was adequate however a sliding door into the bathroom activated the light and extractor fan which droned on for 8 Minutes after use and because the light is connected with no manual switch, visits during the night flooded the bedroom in bright light.
Restaurant: Breakfast was good in general however the sausage was still raw in the centre.
We booked a table in the restaurant on the Saturday and were the first in. The prawn cocktail starter consisted of freshly thawed prawns that had not been drained properly and sauce was in short supply, one lettuce leaf uncut. And bread which was neither toasted nor "raw", Mains were Cod and chips with garden peas, the cod was encased in batter which had quite obviously been Deep fried twice, turning the batter a darker shade of brown nearing black and dripping in oil which appeared to be "old". The chips had been fried more than once, probably two or Three times, where hard and knife resistant, the peas very small and dried out. The other main was a "gourmet" cheeseburger , fries and onion rings. The burger contents were welded together, the bun extremely hard and inedible. The Three onion rings where "well done".
This was our second visit to the venue this year, the first in January, on both occasions the staff where attentive polite and profesional, they where sorely let down by the catering standards. We will not be repeating the experience.
