Stayed 3 nights at un unpowered site in the shadow next to the beach. Great and clean bathrooms, large and clean kitchen, very friendly staff. Five stars. Thumbs up for the lady (Jackie?) at reception. Very friendly, professional service, someone who knows what to prioritise in order to deliver the best possible service to her customers. Shoutout to the young Dutch holiday worker. Super friendly! Keep up the good work guys. Ps: loved the raw vegan slices.

We camped beside the beach to the sound of the ocean in this beautiful spot. The staff were friendly and helpful. The camp ground was clean and well run. Great wood fired pizza and drinks were available in the evening which really nice at the end of the day.

Lovely location, got the luxuries of good amenities but also the camping vibe alongside the beach. The staff are lovely and friendly.

In walking distance to local cafes and bars. Visited another camping location next door which was not up to standard!

This lovely gem only sets you back $17 per person per night

We stayed at Camp Trib Camping for 4 nights before heading up the Bloomfield track. Amazing spot in the middle of the Daintree. Friendly accommodating staff, ample and clean facilities, the odd cassowary wandering by at dusk on the beach and we were knocked over by the magnificent wood fired pizzas from the Sand Bar. You can also enjoy a beer, cider or wine while devouring your pizza. Allow a couple of days to look around and enjoy some of the walks, crock tours, or just chill out.

4 x couples with kids and a large camping ground with powered and unpowered sites. Excellent kitchen facilities but the fridge could be larger. A lot of the pitches are easily inundated with <5mm rain besides lacking grass. Could be better managed as the location and ability to light a fire by the beach make it that extra bit special compared to PK and Safari camping sites just a stone's throw from this place. The wood fired pizzas served in the evening can serve as an escape for the novice who doesn't want to cook! Please don't except an authentic Italian pizzeria but appreciate what you get in the forest.

Room Tip: Book in advance and ask for a map to choose your site from. Sites 9-11 and A-F are the best.

We called in to Cape Trib Camping for a drink but ended up staying for pizza. Cape Trib Camping is set in a lush rain forest setting with many happy campers setting up in the large camping area. The atmosphere is overall very chillaxed and friendly. We enjoyed drinks and pizza in the casual bar area. The pizza is wood fired and very tasty. They take pride in their produce and use organic where possible. The pizza fillings could be a little more generously spread towards the outside of the actual pizza; a mild gripe. Otherwise great. Definitely would return.

Room Tip: Lots of good camping options but don't forget to try the pizza

We stayed here 4 nights, the campsite is awesome and the beach access is via a small walk through the forest. There are loads of fresh coconuts along the beach to gather with a spike back at camp to open them. Pizza is a must do while staying there and the host and staff are all very friendly.
