We came to experience the rainforest and see some unique sights. We did .
Near the end of the sealed (tarmacced) road in cape tribulation, with a few eateries within a short drive.
Just a good drive 1km off the highway we meandered into this oasis in the forest. I magical path through their "garden " was so much better than the official guided night safari.
Our room was basic, but very comfortable. Rob and Anuli were welcome hosts with a marvellous fruit breakfast and visited by a wild cassowary family at the veranda!!!
An ideal place to visit daintree esp the croc boat trip and tour up to cooktown ( in 4x4
with guide). The only down side was the fear of swimming off beaches of paradise ( salties) and the poor wifi . Wonderful, special etc etc.More
