Enjoyed our night at such an iconic hotel. Meals here included a range of $12-14 offers so enjoyed a nice steak which was not bad for the price. Many local families were here for a Saturday night out and it did not strike me as a dingy pub at all. Very pleasant night had here

Traveling for work our accommodation is booked by others so you never know what to expect. The mixed reviews on Lees didn't help much either. We were met by Vanessa at reception who swapped us from single to double bed rooms, which we thought was a great start. The room itself was quite compact, but for just myself it worked fine. The bed was comfy, the pillows weren't like mine but i got a good nights sleep. The ensuite was very tight but the shower was large with great water pressure. Aircon was cold, tv was large and wifi was free which are all positives. The room could do with a bit better cleaning. Was great to just kick back in the bar which contains some great local memorabilia and $6 Jimmy cans. Winning. The meals weren't quite to the standard I'd expect for the price but they were certainly edible. Good staff help greatly in getting customers to return so people like Vanessa who go over and above in all areas of the hotel are a bonus to your establishment. Thanks for having us, we'll see you again.

It was a great place to stay. The lady at reception was so nice and understanding. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and roomy. Loved that we had a balcony room too. Would stay here again.

After we finally got checked in after a stupid amount of time waiting for the person behind the bar to finish making a coffee and come to see us, we went up stairs to the "room". Extremely small with a wire racking system on the wall next to the bed which held the blankets. You had to bend over the bed to get around it. Yep, walked right into it, in the dark. The room was clean although the carpet needed vacuuming. Decided not to eat there due to uninspiring menu. Trying sleep there was terrible, the room was airless, could not open the Windows and had to endure a dripping noise outside the window all night. Ended up putting the aircon on. Aircon in winter? Wow. Could not wait to get out of there this morning. The first breath of fresh air outside the motel was like being born again. Never, never, never again.
