After the recent very heavy rain in the area the falls were so powerful.
Drive yourself there and walk along the pathway to the viewing platforms. It's not a difficult walk and you can choose how far you go. There is car parking close by. You don't need to spend too long but it's well worth a look if you're in the area.

Recently revisited the Barron Falls lookout as we were interested in the view after the heavy rains of the last week. The walking trail down to the Falls has been upgraded and in itself is worth a visit. Boardwalk makes easy access for families and those with mobility needs. Spectacular views over falls which were thundering over the drop into the valley below.

Accessible walk to see the Barron Falls and surrounding rainforest. Three viewing platforms to suit whether you want to walk 50 or 500 metres.

Good view from the Skyrail stop. Impressive and lots of water this time of the year.

You can't get very close and one of the viewing platforms was closed, but definitely a must see.
