It is in a beautiful location with fantastic views and easy access to town via a picturesque walking path. The facilities are terrific and the on-site take away shop is a bonus. We found the staff to be most friendly and helpful, as were other park guests. However, as others have written in their reviews, the surrounding gum trees are home to hundreds (and hundreds) of starlings and galahs which create a constant cacophony during the day and whilst we were there, all night! Not to mention the dirty, messy droppings over paths and grounds and if you are unlucky enough to be given a site under the trees, over your car/van/tent/awning/belongings. This will prevent us from ever staying here again.

Nicely laid out caravan park on the water. A bit tight reversing, 22ft van, but can fit. Site was very full, but if we had of been warned about the birds in the overhead trees, we not have stayed. They even have bird scarring guns, that only make the birds move and cause them to create more droppings. We sat under our awning and listened to constant bird droppings hitting the awning, caravan and car all night. The next day looked like 100 birds had exploded over the van and car. Nice spot, nice food in the cafe/shop. Pity about the bird droppings.

We spent 3 beautiful nights here in a cabin with the most stunning views over the bay. Merylee, your host, is just so friendly and happy to help in any way. Everyone in the park seemed so relaxed and friendly too which was such a pleasure. Just walk out the front of the park and you can swim in calm waters and cool off. It was extremely hot while we were there.

Room tip: We had a lovely room with a comfortable bed and great views for a very reasonable price.

We stayed here in a brick cabin for 2 nights on a road trip of the Eyre Peninsula. This a beautiful location with absolute waterfront off the back veranda of the cabin. Location does not get better than this. We had a studio cabin that was well fitted out, maintained and comfortable. Park staff were very friendly and helpful, there were many vans there and all seemed to like the venue.

Great location on the waters edge. A few extra dollars gets you right on waters
Edge. A lot of shady sites under $40
Good clean park and ammenities. Shop at
Park is independently operated but well priced if you want night off from
Cooking
