My daughters and I saw the cutest Penguins and gained insights into their lives under the expert guidance of Steve. These creatures and their accessibility in one of South Australia’s prime tourist spots needs to be treasured. Steve and people like him are holding together what should be managed at a local and state government level to ensure these resilient but vulnerable animals are there for the future. Thee creatures are amazing, we saw them return form the ocean to feed their babies. They have to waddle across a walkway where people walk to the jetty to fish. The penguins are scared by people and their phone lights. The only access should be under supervision of those who know and care for these amazing penguins otherwise we won’t have them any more.

We booked tickets for my husband and I and our 3yold. We were warned at the beginning that we might or might not see penguins.
The tour guides were very knowledgeable and gave lots of informative information about the penguins.
The tour began at 7:30 and as we had young children in our group we went straight to a penguin burrow that had activity the night before. We saw 2 penguins straight away and watched them for a few minutes before moving on.
We moved and saw two penguins come to sore through the rocks and another penguin near the walkway.
We only stayed until 8pm as our little one was tired but we had saw 5 penguins by this time and had a great informative talk by the tour guide Stephen. The rest of the tour continued unitl 9pm.

It was a very enjoyable night and i would recommend it to any family!
