I stayed here two nights. People are very friendly, just ask for what you want. The rooms are large, clean and have everything you need with A/C. You can walk to the private beach which would take about 35 minutes or ride a bike that they offer you take a taxi that they will arrange. The beach has chairs and umbrellas already set up. Has a bar with food, drinks and music and Volleyball. There is a pool and lots of areas to rest or hang out and talk. The bar is open all the time just ask. It's very quiet and peaceful. If you want to go into Monopoli take a taxi or drive about 15 minutes where the old center is and stores and restaurants and gelato. Along the water are several Resturants and bars and some public beaches .

We approached this hotel in a difficult way, and left the easy way. It was probably our own fault, as we didn't check the hotel's location before we tried to find it.

But once we arrived, we were delighted. Our room was lovely, dinner was really excellent, breakfast was good.

We stayed here for a few nights while on a cycling trip in Puglia and we were not disappointed. The daily breakfast was excellent the dinner we had was also very good. The rooms are very clean and well kept and there is a wonderful roof top terrace that is fantastic for enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sun set. A beautiful, historic property that is located a short walk from a private beach.

Beautiful and full of character, great locatin, great breakfast, the pool is very relaxing.
The cleanest and most enchanting hotel I have ever stayed. Our rooms were fabulous and the bathroom is spotless - soooo clean.Totally stunning hotel with an absolutely fantastic restaurant.A little way away from the Monopoly town but very peaceful and yet far enough that we're outside the hustle and bustle. The hotel provides free bicycles to ride into the country side and beach .

Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay here, very charming and relaxing hotel!

This is on the slopes down to Capitolo, a beach suburb of Monopoli. It is very pretty and well- maintained, in a good position and with a charming pool and courtyard. The dining/breakfast area outside looks like a theatre set with the deep blue sea in the middle distance. And the breakfasts were easily the best of the four Italian hotels we stayed in this summer: a huge range of fresh fruit, a variety of local pastries, many fruit juices and all the conventional cerealy stuff too. Plus proper coffee brought by waiters which is not common enough.
It's a little way from the sea but the masseria offers a free shuttle to a beach 2km away - or free parking. - plus sun beds and umbrellas there. There seems to be an infinite supply of lovely beach towels...
The rooms are small and dark but we begin to think that is standard for Masseria style hotels - after all, they were fortified buildings. The restaurant is OK but formal, expensive and slightly drear inside (it rained the night we ate in) and not amusing compared to other local places. The staff are charming and helpful although no-one seems assigned to bar duties - shame as there were several places around the hotel and on the roof - from where you can watch the sunset - which were perfect for early evening drinks.

PS On wifi - as with other Masserias, the walls are just too thick for in room wifi but there was excellent free wifi around the pool and in the courtyard.

Room Tip: If there are any which are a bit lighter, that might be nice.
