As a lone woman business traveler/foodie, I’m always looking for delicious food with great service in an atmosphere where I’m comfortable for a reasonable price point. Not so easy to hit all four of these but Amp 150 succeeded. It was my best meal in Cleveland.

The restaurant is in the lobby of the Marriott hotel near the airport. Not a typical location for this quality. The unique layout offers smaller semi private areas and small table/booths which are great for the lone diner. They also have the bar if you are feeling social. Some guests were in jackets with clients.

There is a good beer selection presented on a separate menu and arranged by type. The menu (which matched the online version for food choices) featured small plates, entries, snacks and shareables. I picked two shareables. Perfectly cooked charred brussel sprouts with a balsamic glaze and steak tartare. Yes, that’s what I said. Besides being beautifully served and tasting great, it had perfect texture and accompaniments.

Service was also surprisingly excellent. The ‘hotel restaurant’ uniforms didn’t match the level of service offered. These ladies should be in 5 star garb. I also watched other tables receiving customized service, suggestions and specialized attention.

Joseph Dubbs is the exec chef and general manager who deserves the kudos. Well done!

This classy Marriott restaurant deserves more play. The food is outstanding. I think that because it's in a hotel, people don't flock here. I'm an Eastsider and make the trip as often as I can. Tonight we had the Maple Brined Smoked 14 ounce Pork Porterhouse ( it is a tender, juicy, flavorful pork chop....NOT beef) and had them leave out the Gouda cheese on the smashed potatoes. Came with brussel sprouts.....cooked to perfection. Had the Spinach and Arugula salad which was fantastic. Finished off with the Milk Chocolate Panna Cotta which was heavenly and creamy with crunchy hazelnuts, milk chocolate and salted caramel. It was a perfect small ending to the meal. I've never been disappointed. I always ask to sit at one of Stephanie's tables. Great server. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent atmosphere. We stayed at the airport Marriott and this restaurant/bar was connected to our hotel. Very extensive craft beer and wine list ! Breakfast buffet was $15 a person and had an omelette bar, waffle station, bagels, muffin, wide selection of fresh cut fruit, bacon, sausage, French toast, granola, yogurt, oatmeal, anything you could want. All delicious. Service was Top notch. Never let our water glasses get below half full. Service with a smile. Were able to change our bill to the room as well. Also the bar snack French fires were some of the best ive had !! I would stop here even if we weren’t staying at the Marriott ! Nice place away from the hustle and bustle of down town.
