“Nice place!”
Reviewed 8 February 2012

This hotel is conveniently located beside restaurants and I-270. The hotel is just minutes from Target, Kroger and a cute historical shopping area. This hotel was clean and quite…just what I needed before I took my board exams the next day. Front desk staff was energetic and polite when I checked-in. Room area was a nice comfortable size with 2 queen beds. Bath was tight, but nice. Good selection for complimentary breakfast. Would stay here again!

Room Tip: I would get a second floor room that faces the main highway.

Nice clean modern room. $76.00/ night. Clerk was friendly, the breakfast is awesome! Danish, muffins, even make your own waffles. I'll definitely recommend this to anyone.

We stayed here in Nov and Dec of last year and it is a great place to stay. The staff is excellent. From the cleaning staff to the breakfast staff to the front desk staff, they are all very helpful and courteous. Our rooms have always been clean. The outside of the hotel is always neat. We have never had a problem with our room keys. It is also nice to have a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot in our room. In some of the hotels we have stayed in, in the Columbus area, we have had to pay extra for these conveniences. We will be staying there in January of 2012 also. The parking lot is well lit and visible from the rooms.

Room Tip: rooms on the south side are quieter

We stay here twice a year and love it. It is easy to get to off the main highway and it is close to numerous restaurants. The people here are very friendly and nice to do business with. The rooms are always clean and if you need anything they will get it for you.

We stopped in Columbus for the night on our way from VA to MI on Dec. 27th 2011. We stopped at the Days Inn on the north side of town. We were meet by a very nice desk clerk. I said we only needed one bed. Maybe i should have sprung for a 2 bed room as the size of a one bed room was very small. It still was very comfortable however with a little fridge and microwave and coffee maker. The price was really good so we think the smallness of the room was doable lol.
The breakfast the next morning Dec. 28th, was very good and lots of variety. Easy check out also. Will stay here again without question, just maybe in a larger room :-).

Room Tip: Restrauants close by all around and also shopping very close by.

Recently stayed at this hotel. It seems to be a former Microtel Inn, which means really small, but well utilized rooms. Our room was really small. The bed took up at least 30 to 40% of the room. If you need a place to sleep, this will work. If you are vacationing and plan to spend a little time in the room, it is clearly too small for multiple people. The room was better for an individual, than a couple.

The room itself was clean and pleasant. The heater is what I call a two night stay heater. You need one night to figure out where to set it. It did take a while for the heat to get up and then woke up at 3 AM to stifling heat. Once you know how to work the heat, its great, but you need to guess and check. The heater was also louder than typical. I typically like noise to sleep, so that worked out nicely for me, but others may find it disquieting, especially because there is no where in the room to escape to.

The bathroom was a bit odd. The flooring and sink were really higher class than one would expect at the Days Inn, the paint job was a bit more typical, though not bad. The bathroom was small, but spacey enough to not be too crowded. The shower was fine.

I rated this 3 of 5 because while it can be 4 of 5 for one or two people just staying the night to sleep, if you are trying to vacation or what not, the room we had would be problematic. The hotel does offer larger rooms, though I don't know how many.

Our hotel has 80 rooms and 40 of them are quite large. 40 of our rooms are economy size which allows our guest to maximize their dollars. Our large rooms are called business suites and have quite of bit of space, a large screen televison,a pull out sofa, microwave and refrigerator. I would definitely recommend this room for long term stay as one will be very comfortable. Thank you for noticing our upgrades. Our staff consistently strives to provide excellent customer service along with a great HOT Breakfast!!!

This was the second time we've stayed here for an extended weekend visiting family (4 nights this last time).
Both visits were comparable - friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and very fresh looking - there must have been a remodeling relatively recently.
We had a single queen bed in a fairly small room, but very efficiently arranged with a bay window seating bench, and a Euro-styled closet/desk/fridge/microwave/TV nook.
The breakfast bar had not only waffles but hot biscuits & sausage gravy, putting it a clear notch above most economy hotels.
The online prices both times were among the lowest in town, comparable to economy hotels with much much lower ratings. Overall this place is an excellent value for an economy hotel.
We will return here for sure whenever family events bring us back.
