“Seafood Instead of Steak, MMMmmm!”
Reviewed 22 February 2012

We visit here usally for special occasions This time was no different, B'day and Valentines Day. We usally do steaks but went with seafood dishes this time. My wife had the Ahi Tuna and I had the Scallops pan seared. Both were very good. The tuna may of been a touch past medium rare as ordered but that didn't take away from the quality of the dish. We also had the Beef Carpaccio for an appetizer which is always great. We split the Almond Canolli for desert, again very good!

Our server was very accomaditing, attentive and fun. The atmosphere is very comfortable and fairly quite and cosy.

We always have a good time when dinning here.

“Perfect Dinner”
Reviewed 20 February 2012

Visited this restaurant for Valentine's dinner. Beautiful atmosphere (sat upstairs in front of the fireplace). Food was delicious...started with their signature chips with blue cheese, followed by filet mignon, grilled asparagus, scalloped potatos and lobster macaroni (all highly recommended). On their website it states that you can bring your own wine, which we did. There is a corkage fee and you can take any leftover wine with you. Our server, Nikki, was attentive and personable. We really enjoyed this restaurant and will visit again.

This is our favorite restaurant that we dine at on a regular basis. Food is always great, and the service is top-notch. Prices are OK of this high-end type of restaurant.

“NEVER A BAD MEAL”
Reviewed 9 February 2012

J. Gilbert's has definitely become my husband's and my favorite restaurant in Columbus, OH. We have been there probably 20 times or more and have never been disappointed in anything we have ordered. We can't say that about any other restaurant that we frequent. The food is amazing!

“A lobster cobb salad to die for!”
Reviewed 30 January 2012

I have eatten at J. Gilberts a couple times. I just went this past weekend and I normally get steak which is always great. I decided upon a lobster cobb salad this time around for an entree. It was very fresh and full of lobster. I hate to order seafood salads to find that they were stingy on the best part of it. This was so not the case at all. I also got to taste my friends pork chop that was seasoned to perfection. I was very pleased. Can't wait to return.
