Beautifully cozy room straight out of an Enid Blyton Book! Beautiful gardens! Perfectly located close to the shopping street of Lachumiere. Internet was a bit problematic to connect to with us not having internet at all on the day we arrived. Hot water was not consistently hot. Breakfast was included and was simple yet delicious. Hospitality was par excellence. Thankyou for a beautiful 3 days at Shillong! We will highly recommend your place to family and friends travelling to Shillong.

I stayed for 4 nights at The Habitat Shillong (also known as Asian Confluence) during December 2017. The property is tastefully decorated, well maintained and surrounded by a garden. There are many communal sitting areas to sit and relax around.
Hot water shower and heater is available round the clock. This is very important as it gets really cold during winter.
Location is convenient as there are several eateries & provision shops around the area and it is near to Laitumkhrah Market. Best part is that it is opposite Cafe Shillong. I prefer to stay in Laitumkhrah as it is not as busy as the properties around Police Bazaar. The cool and sunny winter days are perfect for walking around Shillong.
The reception is also able to organise sightseeing and day trips to Dawki and Cherrapunji.
I find the inclusive Breakfast satisfactory. Fresh juices are nice, service is prompt and the staff are polite.
Only problem is that there is some construction /renovation nearby, so it gets too noisy to read in the library during day time.

Front Desk staff Ms. Lily and Rumi are excellent. They will make you comfortable and relaxed in their approach. We stayed there two nights, all facilities mentioned were good clean. Very good Breakfast and dinner. Food is really good for vegetarians also. We were group of seven all four rooms were good.
