We have stayed here a few times now and each time the food has been great, the rooms comfortablle and good value. What really makes it a good find is the friendly, helpful service of Neil, Anne and all their team. I would recommend The Kings Arms and especially if you are a scuba diver and need a base close to Cpaernwray, it’s perfectly located just 10mins away.

Room tip: The Barn rooms are great.

We stayed at the pub for three nights in a double room on the first floor. The en suite was small but adequate with plenty of hot water, clean towels and a small shower gel. The bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. Complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate and cookies. At breakfast, you could have whatever combination you wanted which was cooked fresh and delicious. We would recommend you eat in the pub in the evening as the food is amazing. The best chips and onion rings, ever. Everything was fresh and cooked beautifully. Most of the food is sourced locally, check out the allotment at the end of the car park. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Neil and Ann for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

What a lovely weekend in Cumbria at this excellent b&b. We stayed in one of the barn conversation rooms and they are homely, comfortable and very modern. There's ample parking on site and the pub is great. The owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming and the the food is delicious. I would not stay anywhere else when visiting this area to scuba dive
