Stayed here for three nights as part of a group. Our booking had been made some time ago so our check-in should not have been a surprise. Process somewhat chaotic, enhanced only by the sullenness of one of the staff allocated to show us to our rooms when she refused to finish the process and someone else had to take over! Lovely room with fresh linen and towels, lots of space and clean ensuite bathroom. Food lovely and nicely presented but dinner menu didn't change on nights two and three so many of the group resorted to having just a main course, or a starter, or a starter and a dessert, rather than the three course meal on offer, despite the discussion about menu choices which had pre-ceded and continued during our visit. Accompanying wine expensive, resulting in many of the group reducing their intake! Good choices at breakfast. Staff interaction varied from the sullen (above) or rude, to the friendly, helpful and pleasant. Difficult to know who was doing who the favour some of the time.
