10/10!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed May 9, 2024
I fancied a little break away up at the coast, and tried Briarfields for the first time. It definitely won't be the last! This hotel is fabulous - they've thought of everything, and even provided a mini-fridge upon request, which was perfect for the cheese and biscuits I had after a long bath! I slept really well, the room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I understand it's dog friendly, but there was absolutely no dog smell in my room.
The location is stunning - you can walk to Brancaster, or check out the RSPB reserve in Titchwell, plus Hunny and Thornham are close by (and the bus goes through Titchwell if you want to leave your car). I didn't dine here as I was out exploring and ate while I was out, but if the food is anything like the rooms then it will be fantastic.
I'm already looking at dates for my next trip! Cannot recommend enough 💜
Date of stay: May 2024
Room Tip: If you fancy ditching your car, the coastal bus runs hourly and goes east to Wells or West to Hunny.

We love returning to Briarfields. The location is along the North Norfolk coast is perfect, the hotel is comfortable, clean and welcoming, staff helpful and food delicious. Parking right by the dog-friendly bedrooms means luggage and pooches are deposited quickly and easily. In fact everything we could possibly wish for is right here. We have already booked to return later this year - cannot wait...

Really lovely weekend thank you all. Excellent for dogs, our dog Evie had a great time, she particularly enjoyed all the attention and the sausages. Thank you for the gluten free alternatives, breakfast was fabulous and really nice food for the evening meals with gf choices. Very clean and a great place to stay, rooms are really special. Would definitely come back.

Super place to stay, especially if you take a dog. Most of the rooms open out straight out either into the courtyard or the car park, and then on into a big dog walking field. All the rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. What’s more it’s a quiet, peaceful area but near all the major sites North Norfolk has to offer. Breakfast excellent and, although, evening food was relatively simple fare it was good value and very nice. If you have not taken a dog, be reassured, that there is a separate dining area for people with a canine. We didn’t see the local owls this time but there were Marsh Harriers flying overhead each day.

Absolutely lovely 3 night stay. We chose a non dog room as I’m not keen on the dog smell you can get from rooms where they’ve been. Super room. Very clean. Had everything we wanted and needed. Very quiet customer wise so no need to book a time for breakfast. Breakfast its self for me was very good, full English. Waitresses were excellent. Food served hot.
Slight drawback , which stopped me giving 5 instead of 4 was that there were no tongs to lift the pastries onto your plate. So unknown what the person before you might have been touching. Otherwise, excellent.

We have recently returned from this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is very dog friendly and they are well catered for. We ate in the bar area as we had dogs with us and the food was delicious.
