Our friends live local to this pub and knew the landlord Trevor who was jolly nice in that he did our youngest beans on toast with grated cheese for her lunch which she loved. Our friends had Jacket potatoes which were a good size, perfectly cooked with a good amount of topping and salad. We had the fish and chips which was a generous portion. The kids (9 & 12) enjoyed the slide and the outdoor tables were 8 seaters which was great. A traditional old fashion 80’s pub full of dark beams and British charm.

Trevor made most welcome as was our dog . We have now been several times and had a very reasonably priced meal of excellent quality. Water and a treat for our dog . Sitting inside or outside in the garden especially in this beautiful weather we are having. We are taking advantage of the campsite adjacent to the pub and spending 4 nights in our motorhome . What better than good food , welcome hosts and the beach and sea on your doorstep. So popular you have to book sunday lunch in advance ...speaks for itself i think!

We regularly visit Trevor at The Vulcan for wonderful, tasty food along with good company - lunch and evening. The atmosphere is always very friendly and welcoming. Trevor is an excellent host and the food is exceptional. We find the service very good along with a good variety of choice on the menu which is cooked fresh to order. As we have been visiting this area for a number of years, i would not hesitate to recommend a visit..

Always popular and always tasty. The carvery normally has a choice of two roasts a, big choice of vegetables and gravy to die for!
Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere add to the occasion.
Best to book as it is always busy.
