Looking forward to our first visit to Southwold, but this was marred by an overpriced room, not worthy of the charge. The room was nothing like any of the advertised rooms, it was smaller, which normally would not be a problem if fairly priced, but there was too much furniture in the room which then made it cramped, you could not open the door to the very bijou shower room because of all the furniture. The shower was in a poor state and more water leaked out of the connections than came out of the shower head. The plug to the bedside lamp came apart when removing from the socket to plug in a phone charger.
Also whilst down at breakfast the room was cleaned, before we vacated for the day, all our very personal stuff was in the room and scattered on the bed ready for us to put in our bags after breakfast, Breakfast was Ok except I have never had overcooked mushrooms before. All in all would never returnMore
