Lovely location and great staff. As good as any premier inn we have been to recently. Brewers Fayre next door was on point and a supermarket that does hot takeaway pizza within a stone throw. Take advantage of the cheap rates due to building works and ignore the poor reviews. This is a bargain.

Well hete we are again in premier in Newhaven. We had a lovley greeting at reception and the room is spotless abd comfortable. Now i see people are saying the air con does not work well it wont because they have not got aircon. Our room was nice and fresh today and if wRm Fans are supplied. Ok i can recomebd this hotel as we have been coming many years. What I cannot reccomend is the brewers fair next door, as it seems to degrade yearly. We did look in this evening but guys it was a shambles sat at durty sticky table then walked out. Im a chef by trade and I would not let my dog eat there. We went i to seaford for fish and chips at the Trawlers it was excellent.

good but let down by building works for an extension to hotel . the contractor had not made any alternate pedestrian access to the hotel which meant crossing a very busy retail park and garage mainly walking in the road

Premier Inn is at rear of Sainsbury’s car park. They were building a new hotel wing when we were there. There’s no on-site bar or dining but a Brewer Fayre pub-restaurant is by the front hotel entrance. There are two floors and no lift

Usual Premier Inn standard with very comfortable beds. The back of the hotel, where our room was, looks over Drove wild park with a stream and ponds and is thus quieter than rooms at the front to overlook the car park and restaurant.

We will likely stay again

While the premier inn is like most others I have stayed in, sadly the bed wasn’t as good.
I should have said something but didn’t. But I don’t believe the mattress was one of their premium ones, as my back ended up in spasm both nights.

The hotel was in itself as I would expect and the works on the extension caused very little interruption.
The staff were fantastically cheerful and helpful when approached, more fool me for not having mentioned the bed at the time.
