Stayed one night for my aunts birthday from booking to leaving, I can not fault this hotel.
The staff are friendly and attentive. The location is in the village of seddlescombe, with a lovely pub, little village post office and is set on a green. We were lucky enough to see the beautiful geese wondering around. The rooms are spacious and lovely and clean. We had room 7 which overlooks the green. We had a wander around seddlescombe as we had booked treatments at a beautiful location ( review separately ) but was called cottage spa garden. The lanes of seddlescombe are very picturesque.
We booked an evening meal in the hotel restaurant. Once again the service, quality of the food and atmosphere was perfect. The food was faultless. I had the monkfish and was very tasty.
I asked for a candle to be bought out to my aunt in her dessert and four waiters all came and sang. It was really lovely
Hotel has ample parking and a heated outdoor swimming pool.
I would not hesitate to come back to this hotel.
Thank you for a perfect evening.More
