We visited your restaurant in Braintree a couple of days ago, took our 2 young children.

The food was great, reasonable prices but the service was so slow, it is not a good expeeience when you have 2 hungry children who were getting bored and frustrated as everything just took so long, no staff checking to see if people needed anything, it took an age for them to collect plates and get puddings to us. We gave up waiting to pay the bill, preferring not to wait any longer after 20 minutes we walked up to the counter to pay..

I know this is a new restaurant but more customer attention is needed, it's a shame as we enjoyed the food just not the experience which was a little treat with the children.

Rather than put a review straight up we emailed them to raise the complaint but nobody bothered to reply.

Food very over priced.

Service spectacularly slow - a really shame the staff spend more time on cigarette breaks than they do waiting on tables. Not a smile to be found between the staff waiting tables, ironic given the name!

Went in on a quiet weekday lunch time and was over an hour just for a milk shake and a main course (I literally had a cobb salad, which I realised after was missing the bacon).

The only plus is the peanut milk shake was lovely.

Went as a couple prior to going to the (almost) next door cinema. Freindly, cheerful young man welcomed us and offered to lower the music level. He did, but only a bit. However we enjoyed our meals; a Cobb Salad and a Chicken Caesar salad, both of which had freshly cooked meat and were excellent. Very good addition to the options in Freeport and one to which we will return.

Gave this a try wished hadn’t of bothered. Went on a quiet Thursday afternoon with not many customers and plenty of staff. Started off well, was shown a table and ordered drinks pretty quick. The food was of good quality but the service was slow with miserable unfriendly staff. The toilets were not cleaned very well with dirt in the corners and stained tiles and exit door, the hallway outside the toilets is blocked with old tables - not good for a quick exit ! The restaurant is decorated well and themed nicely but untidy. We had 2 burgers,1 fries,1 onion rings and two coke refills ( which were difficult to get refilled ) this came to £30 which we eventually paid at the bar as the waiter never came over when we finished the meal - we were up for dessert but didn’t bother as no one came over ! We
Won’t bother again as although the food was good the service, the cleanliness and price let it down.

Visited with my family. Food was tasty and plenty to choose from. Service was very slow as waited 20 minutes for our drinks and two other tables who ordered food after us were served theirs first. There was a weekly offer for £7.95 which included any choice of burger, hotdog, or half chicken with bottomless drink. This said not available on public holidays and as it was mid week in Feb we thought we would be eligible for this offer. However on ordering we were told we couldn't have the order as it was a public holiday and so they were not doing it.Since when did Valentine's day become a public holiday or schools half term. If it was because of the school holiday then they need to rephrase to during school holiday to make it crystal clear. So ended up paying £11ish instead which was annoying but tge waiter was having none of it.Also ordered a kids meal which included a main, dessert and drink for £5.95 for under 10's. We were charged for the diet coke aswell as the 5.95 and so told them that the drink was included and they deleted it. Always check the bill. Disappointing.
