As we had so enjoyed our last visit we came again. Lovely waitress and quick friendly service. However at 5.30pm and only one other table occupied seating 2 ladies outside the door to the kitchen with lots of plate clashing and banging is just old school unfair. Usually we are by the door, another place to put parties of 2 (usually ladies) who will not be tipping or drinking heavily. Hey ho! Do you think we don't notice? You know we won't make a fuss. Selection from Aprils specials - pear and endive starter with hazelnut dressing, a little frugal but ok. Mains grilled sea bass with courgette purée shaved courgette, broad beans and rocket salad. Tasted like mint pea purée not a sign of a broad bean and some dry rocket leaves. Small overlooked fish. Mm. Puds were OK- we don't usually have them but hey we were desperate. Apple crumble ok, dark pot chocolate too sweet but ok. Ok it's not fine dining and the waitress attention was good. Will we be back? .?

My first visit and genuinely pleased. Great service by attentive but discrete staff. Plenty to choose from and some lovely wine. Food was beautifully prepared and hot. We all enjoyed the food including the desserts. Will def go back.

On a busy Thursday evening with too many Restaurants to choose from, we struck lucky be going to this Restaurant. The choices from the menus were easy to make, and prices were reasonable. All the dishes we had were tasty and well cooked and presented.
Service was quick and cheerful. We will return.

Unfortunately this didn’t quite hit the mark - was very ‘Cafe Rouge’. Medium steak was moo-ing and chicken had grill marks but skin was slimy (shame as the meat was cooked to perfection). Service was really friendly and very good but table opposite had child watching tv on iPad so was very uncomfortable listening to the background music and nursery rhymes; the staff did nothing. Seriously, can parents not teach their kids to sit though a meal and talk these days? And if you want to give your kid an iPad so they sit there like zombies at least give them headphones. Anyway, won’t be returning. I’d also advise the staff not to carry the food out on large trays on their shoulder and shout across them asking for help with service - they literally have their mouths within 2 inches of the plates and it’s very off-putting. I’d come back if the food was cooked better and the staff more aware of the comfort of their guests.
