We visited for the first time for dinner on a Saturday evening. The decor of the restaurant is very authentic and classy. The staff are wonderful and friendly whilst professional. We really liked that there is no feeling of being rushed at any point. We stayed at our table for 4 hours, everyone in the restaurant also stayed more or less the whole time we were there as well. We were even asked if we wanted our main meals yet as they were ready. The starters were all very good - whitebait, mussels, deep fried mozzarella and a mushroom dish. The main meals were unfortunately disappointing for some of our group. Whilst the lasagne and sea bass were nice, the pasta and pizza dishes we had were bland and uninspiring. The pizza in particular was not very cheesy and it seemed like the toppings had been added after cooking as it had raw mushrooms and peppers. The pasta was very bland and overcooked. In summary, service and the restaurant itself were 5 star but the food we felt was only 3 stars, therefore I feel a rating of 4 is fair.
