Changed name to fish and more, we called in last night as we fancied fish and chips but was the worst fish and chips I've ever had chips were pale and soggy as was the batter on the fish and the mushy peas were tinned, shame as used to be a good chippy

We are regular customers of Whistler's in Westbourne and being in Fareham and needing fast food, decided to head to the Fareham branch. We were disappointed to discover that it had changed hands, but thought we'd give it a go.
We ordered a takeaway of fishcake, chips, mushy peas and curry sauce. The fishcakes were fine, the usual you'd expect from a chippy, as were the mushy peas. The curry sauce, however, was too runny. The biggest disappointment was the chips, which were under-cooked and looked more like crisps; very thin and those that weren't crispy were greasy. Sorry, but we won't be back.
