After a long 16 miles in average speed cameras with a passengers legs crossed, the services where a must. As we stopped we thought we should grab some food before we headed back to Devon. We crossed over the bridge to Papa John's, as we both had never had a pizza from them before we thought it would be a good idea.
Ok so it started off ok, other than the lad behind the till didn't know the menu so it was explained that we wanted the Large Pizza deal with two drinks and potato wedges. Ok so we paid, received our buzzer and went to sit down. No lie as soon as our bums hit the seat the buzzer went off, so we went over for the lad to ask what pizza had we ordered (i think it was BBQ chicken) so we told him for the second time. Ok so we go back and sit down. The lad calls over about 5mins later, so go over "what pizza did you want"? So by the time we finally recived our pizza we had been asked about 5 times what pizza we ordered, then we didn't receive our wedges so, we had to go tell him what was meant to come with our order. The came about 5mins after, a little soggy on the outside and some a little hard but we didn't really work that out until we had made it back to the car and a few miles down the road as we had eaten enough pizza and took the rest with us.
Now the best bit, it took nearly an hour for our order to be taken, the pizza to be cooked and and the full order to be received.
As chains go, I would never eat or suggest Papa Johns to anyone.
