Popped in the Fish Inn on a spur of the moment decision. We weren't disappointed, my Wife and daughter had the vegetarian roast and I had gammon and egg, all were delicious.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The vegetarian options on the menu were very good indeed.
Highly recommended!

Lovely pub with lovely garden next to the river. Good menu if you want food and nice selection of ale. Shame you have the A31 roaring passed but turn your back on that and makes for a nice place

We went today for Sunday lunch, having been told that the original pub we booked were showing the football, what a lovely place this was. The staff were friendly and attentive and the roast lamb and beef was very yummy. The puddings were great too, my mother in law said it was the best Bakewell tart she’d ever eaten and I had the rhubarb crumble which is my favourite. Would definetly go back if I was in the area

Probably the worst battered fish I ever had ☹️ Rock hard with little fish although they did take it off the bill
the family experience was ruined
Also took our pudding other then came back to say there was as no brownie...... communication????

Went for lunch today. Ordered the vegetarian option. Poor selection. My meal was a saladifferent with asparagus. What turned up was a bowl of rice with some peas and union in it no asparagus at all. Looked like a packet rice from the supermarket, I did not complaining as we were with friends please. Robbery at a cost of £11.00 won't be going here again in a hurry. Shame as it is a nice pub in a nice setting
