“Absolutely Perfect”

Beautiful and considered conversion in such a lovely peaceful location. Although small, perfectly formed, with everything we needed. Both hosts and local community were very welcoming.

When we visited the weather was incredibly hot and hosts provided fans to ensure room was kept cool. Would like to return when colder so I could try out the wood burner.

The new forest national park is very much on your doorstep.

Thank you so much Laura, we'd be delighted to welcome you back, Burt's is super-cosy in autumn or winter with the under floor heating and wood burner.

“Perfect hideaway & baby friendly”
Reviewed July 8, 2018 for a stay in June 2018

We had the most relaxing long weekend at Burt’s Chapel with our 8 month old.
Lynn & Tim couldn’t be more welcoming hosts, whilst also allowing you your own space.
Burt’s is beautifully decorated, with everything you need & they kindly put up a travel cot & neat high chair for our daughter.
It was hellish hot when we visited, but there was a tall, slim, modern fan that created ample breeze to cool us down. It has a timer on too, so we could leave it on at night but not wake up frozen!
Burt’s is also close to a body of water & local pub, both of which helped cool us down even more!
As others have mentioned, the continental breakfasts are out of this world! I don’t eat wheat but that was no problem, as I received my own tray with delicious poached egg, spinach, avocado or mushrooms & hubby polished off the croissants etc! We also had thoughtful breakfast treats for the baby.
We’re so pleased we chose Burt’s for our precious time away!
The New Forest is magical & Burt’s makes it even more special, you won’t regret a trip there

Really lovely place to stay. Peaceful, clean, welcoming host. I work away all week, and Burts Chapel was a really lovely refreshing change to my norm. Will definitely stay again

“Ideal place to stay if visiting Beaulieu motor museum ”

Ideal place to stay only about 2 miles from Beaulieu motor museum. We were visiting the Hot Rod and Custom Car Show.
Lovely cottage with everything you need. The continental breakfast brought to us by the owner Lynn was a really good idea and there was a good choice, loved the yoghurt and fruit pots.
It was in a lovely location quiet and with views over the field with horses.
The local pub, the Turfcutters had a friendly atmosphere and had a good band playing on the Saturday night.

The location was great and we were really lucky with the weather. Lynn and her husband were great hosts. The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean. The breakfast was awesome. I would come back just for that again.

“Simply Wonderful”

This is our second time staying at Burt’s Chapel B&B and once again it was fantastic. The B&B itself is so comfortable and cosy. We had heavy snow when we stayed and we were very snug and warm in out little haven.

Lynn is the most caring and considerate host, nothing’s too much trouble. My husband has a dairy intolerance and she went above and beyond to make sure that his breakfast was just as scrumptious as mine.

Talking about the breakfast, well what can I say!?! It definitely set us up for the day (we took the pastries on our walks as mid morning snacks). I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such a beautifully presented variety for breakfast.

Everything about this B&B is idyllic, and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

Thank you once again for making our trip so wonderful.

I'm so glad you both had a good time even in the arctic conditions we had at the end of the week, thank you for writing such a kind review. It was our pleasure to have you here and it's good to know Burt's stayed snug in the sub zero conditions!
