“Fantastic accommodation, beautiful setting, very thoughtful owners.”
Reviewed November 18, 2015 for a stay in November 2015

Thank you Gill and Peter for providing us with a perfect setting to enjoy a long weekend with our 18 month old son and his grandparents. The accommodation was superb, and the personal touches / welcome pack, were very thoughtful. Stoke Prior was well situated to travel to the surrounding towns, countryside and visitor attractions. We would highly recommend your holiday accommodation, the best we have ever encountered!

Dear Debbie,
Thank-you for your very kind comments. We were delighted that, despite the very disappointing weather, you enjoyed your stay so much. We will look forward to welcoming you again in the future when we will hope for weather that will allow you to enjoy the gardens and grounds as well as all Herefordshire has to offer.

“Peaceful, comfortable, great location”
Reviewed August 18, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

A well deserved 5 stars for this top quality property. We felt relaxed and at home from the moment we arrived. The owners live next door and were very friendly and helpful but at the same time left us alone to enjoy the property as if it were our own. Beautiful grounds, lovely view from the balcony and several walks from the doorstep so you could be quite happy not going very far. We were glad we did go out and explore though as there is so much to do in this area and all within easy driving distance. A week was too short to do justice to the area. The owner's website is comprehensive and a true reflection of what you find. Congratulations Gill and Peter for creating a truly relaxing place to stay.

As always we are so pleased to receive an excellent review. We do work hard to ensure that guests feel truly relaxed whilst staying at THE COACH HOUSE.This family thoroughly enjoyed their stay and were delighted to spend time on the balcony- meteor shower watching one night! and delighting in the pastoral peace and quiet by day. There were 2 teenagers 12 and 14 who also enjoyed their stay. There is a great deal to do in and around the county catering for all ages.
We hope to welcome this family again in the future.

“Perfect”
Reviewed June 30, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

I have stayed in a lot of accommodations over the years, and this one stands out as exceptional. Even the pickiest of guests will find little to fault in this superb property. The building itself is thoroughly clean, well finished, well equipped, and very tranquil. The surrounding gardens and rural views ooze with natural beauty and peacefulness. The Coach House is a real gem and certainly deserves its 5-star rating. Gill and Peter were the perfect hosts, friendly and helpful when required, yet allowing us all the space needed to lose ourselves in the quiet.

We were delighted to welcome this couple from Montreal with their 3 year old daughter. They certainly made excellent use of their week with trips out and wandering in our 5 acre gardens and grounds. The little girl loved feeding the Indian Runner ducks on our top pond. The setting for THE COACH HOUSE is most tranquil and offers a real 'get away from it all' bolthole which is modern and stylish. For shopping Leominster, our local small market town is only 3 miles away and we are only 15 minutes drive from 2 excellent National Trust properties. Herefordshire is a gem with glorious countryside and views at every turn. There is much to see and do for all ages.
We very much look forward to welcoming this family again and thank them for their positive feedback.

“Tastefully renovated, thoughtfully furnished, idyllic location with lots to do!”
Reviewed June 1, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We stayed at The Coach House for three nights over the bank holiday weekend. We knew the area having had relatives who lived there in the past and were delighted to find this rental property in the very sweet village of Stoke Prior. The conversion of this top floor apartment has been so beautifully done - modern yet fitting for the location, comfortable and sleek at the same time. The basket of welcome goodies were delicious (Damson jam and apple juice as well as choice of bread were just fabulous, as well as the owner's own wine!) and the children were delighted with the chocolate treats. So many thoughtful touches throughout from the supply of washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs and laundry detergent, to the luxury toiletries and very well stocked kitchen.

The setting is gorgeous and so peaceful. We could see donkeys and horses and rabbits and sheep from the balcony which the children also loved. And the grounds and ponds are beautifully kept.

We enjoyed walks to the local school and down to the village past more horses and sheep and the lovely local pub The Lamb Inn with a very entertaining garden for the children. You do need a car here though to fully explore all the local National Trust properties and local towns. We managed to pack in visits to Croft Castle, Hereford, Ludlow, Leominster and a wonderful pick-your-own fruit and veg farm called Court Farm.

The owners were so friendly and helpful but they've already thought of everything you could need I think! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and will look forward to welcoming you again in the future. We do try to personalise our service as far as possible and having two small children ( 5 & 2 years ) to stay gave us an excuse to buy a chocolate sheep and hedgehog!!
We hope that a break at THE COACH HOUSE is always relaxing, regardless of the weather. This family certainly made the very most of their 3 night break.
Thank-you for taking the time to post this very positive and informative review.
Kind regards,
Gill & Peter

“Absolutely perfect. Comfortable luxury in the countryside.”
Reviewed October 8, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We wanted comfort and peace. We weren't disappointed. The Coach House run by Gill and Peter ticks all the boxes and then some. Wonderful countryside and garden around the house and everything you could want inside including reclining armchairs and very comfortable beds. Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by Gill and Peter, plus the three dogs and made to feel totally "at home". The "welcome pack" supplied by Gill was full of scrummy items, homemade raspberry jam which was delicious plus their own apple juice and wine. During our stay we would arrive back in the evening to find boxes of home grown raspberries or tomatoes waiting for us on the steps, they were all very tasty. Nothing was too much trouble. Don't forget the property is on the first floor and therefore there are several step up to the balcony and door, not a problem for us but maybe for some.

You do need a car to get around but for us the area is fantastic as we love visiting gardens. There are too many gardens to visit in one week. At the time of year we were there, Picton gardens near Malvern is a riot of colour as it holds the national collection of asters which were in full bloom. Near to Picton is the Wellington Inn which serves great food which we would highly recommend. The town of Ludlow shouldn't be missed, it's full of quaint shops and buildings.

This is our second visit to the Leominster area but our first to the Coach House. Should we decide to come back to this area we would certainly stay at the Coach House again. Many thanks to Gill and Peter for a wonderful time and the knife sharpener!

Thank-you for taking the time to review THE COACH HOUSE so positively. We moved to Herefordshire 8 years ago from the busy South East. It is certainly very peaceful and gloriously pastoral. We are passionate about the beauty of this county. As fanatic gardeners we agree, a great place to garden gaze. Indeed, far more gardens than can be seen in a week with the wealth of NT properties, scenery and quirky villages to enjoy too. We are very proud that a couple from equally lovely Devon should enjoy their stay so much. We do hope they will find time to visit THE COACH HOUSE again in the future - we have 5 acres of Spring bulbs to enjoy if we need to tempt them!
Many thanks again
