“Good location with a great view of the Solent”
Reviewed September 9, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Comfortable accommodation with appropriate kitchen and dining facilities.
It is no 7 in a terrace of a dozen or so similar properties. Whilst advertised as available for up to 6 it would be a squeeze for anything more than a nuclear family of four.

“Fantastic!!”
Reviewed June 1, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Travelled with my partner and our 6 year old daughter. Loved the cottage, it suited our needs very well. Fab sea views from the front windows and our daughter loved checking out the rabbits in the garden. Good base for us to go sightseeing and to confirm our love of the island! Couldn't pack it all in so hopefully be back soon :)))

“Perfect small family holiday!”

My husband, myself and our 2 year old daughter have just returned from a lovely week in this well equipped, perfectly located, clean, well decorated cottage. We had everything we needed and the grass area out the front was perfect for our daughter to play and watch the rabbits! The cottage is ideal and the walk to Yarmouth was lovely, we had some great weather and enjoyed travelling around the island. Yarmouth is lovely and we used some of the local pubs and takeaways which were great. The neighbours are very friendly too, we can't rate this place enough. Great for couples or those with children, don't hesitate to book.

“Excellent accommodation”
Reviewed April 28, 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed here a week in April and can recommend the holiday rental: clean, well equipped, good location, with views across the Solent. The only downside was the heating; we arrived on the Saturday and being April it took until the Monday to heat the downstairs to a reasonable / comfortable degree as it was reliant on storage heaters. It felt very apparent that the place hadn't been occupied the previous week and the heating had been unfortunately turned off / down. Yes the lounge had a log burner, but was initially not much good without matches, and when we did manage to light the thing it didn't appear to throw out much heat.

Other than the heating issues, perfect accommodation and well recommended.

“Great Cottage in idyllic location”
Reviewed March 14, 2014 for a stay in March 2014

What a find! This was our first stay in the cottage and we were very impressed. The cottage was fully equipped to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. There was everything you could possibly need to make this a home from home experience.
It is situated just a short walk outside of Yarmouth, which is a pleasant stroll along the waters edge, especially if the weather is good. To the front of the cottage, we enjoyed glorious sea views and to the rear, we overlooked the country park, making it a peaceful and tranquil setting.
There are fabulous walks in the surrounding area, including a walk through the country park situated behind the cottage, through to the Needles.
Yarmouth has a good selection of pubs and restaurants and we also ate in the Boathouse close to the cottage, which we can thoroughly recommend, both for food and location.
On arrival we found complimentary drinks from the owners which was a lovely welcome and a a good start to our stay. I would recommend the cottage to anyone who is looking for comfortable accommodation in a peaceful and picturesque setting. My only piece of advice would be to take a torch out in the evenings if returning on foot as there are no street lights around the cottage and it is 'very' dark. This does however add to the charm and makes it ideal for stargazing.
Thank you to Mark and Natasha for providing such a comfortable cottage and for giving us the opportunity to stay.

“Fantastic - quality accommodation- stunning location”
Reviewed March 23, 2013 for a stay in September 2011

This was the 4th time I had visited the property - every time has been wonderful. I have visited with my husband and teenage sons, just with husband, and also with girlfriends. The cottage is perfect for each occasion. It is well equipped, quality finish, and stunning views across to Lymington and the sunsets from the cottage are legendary. The location is excellent, being walking distance along the coast from Yarmouth (10-15 mins) but with equally lovely walks in the opposite direction. If you have a car -don't miss the opportunity to explore the island - the cottage has a visitors' book with photos and ideas of places to visit which is really helpful. I am looking forward to a return visit.

“Beautiful, perfectly equipped period cottage by the sea”
Reviewed January 8, 2013 for a stay in July 2012

Myself, my husband and our one year old son went for a one week stay at Wright Cottage and it was delightful. The sea was a 2 minute walk from the cottage, which was fantastic for little legs eager to explore. The local town was a 15 walk away along the beach and parade where there are many great restaurants and cafes to choose from.
The cottage itself was adorable, with every detail thought of - even a pint of milk in the fridge for a much needed cup of tea on arrival. We can't wait to go back again.
(Fishermen take note - we went mackerel fishing with a local fisherman and caught more than we could ever eat!)
