This has been one of our preferite stays in UK.
The cottage is clear, wonderful and full of comforts. The weather has been great and we spent a lovely time in Hythe.

“A brilliant home from home I a superb location”
Reviewed July 1, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

A well appointed cottage a few minutes walk from the beach , park and other amenities. This was a great base for exploring the area . A very child friendly holiday home. We particularly enjoyed evenings in the garden.

“Lovely cosy cottage, well equipped and a perfect location to explore Hythe and surrounding areas.”
Reviewed May 27, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Cottage was a delight with everything you could need, with a real homely feel to the place. It is situated between the beach and the High Street, with the beautiful Military Canal to cross before you reach the town.
There are some lovely walks along the canal, the seafront, the town and the village of Saltwood above the town where the views down over Hythe to the sea are glorious.
It is also in an ideal place to tour the surrounding areas like the charming Canterbury and Whitstable on the north Kent coast.

“Perfect”
Reviewed May 19, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We have just returned from an amazing long weekend at the cottage. It's in an amazing position and just 30 seconds walk to the seafront. The property is immaculate and furnished beautifully with everything you could need. We enjoyed bbq's in the garden and a great nights sleep in the very comfortable bed. Great little touches with a well stocked kitchen it was just like being at home. Highly recommended.

“Relaxing stay at Heron Cottage”

I agree, don't delay to visit this cottage if you are looking for a place to stay in Hythe. This cottage had an excellent location, central to the town and the beach is at the end of the road!

We are looking to move to the area and would have put this property down as a 'catch' with regards to living space, sleeping space and dining space. Visiting over the bank holiday weekend I expected it to be busy bit it was not at all and it was so quiet. All we heard all weekend was the seagulls, which you expect next to the sea. We had a couple staying in the garden while we were there which was lovely.

The handover and communication with Naomi as very efficient and clear.

We won't hesitate to return to the cottage in the future.

We wanted a property near family where we could chill out and have our own space, we were not disappointed!
We parked up right outside and found the keys as described. The property was spotless when we arrived and everything as described on the directions.
Our 7 month old son slept like a log the whole time in the second bedroom with the black out blind and curtains.
On the Sunday after a short walk along the front our family came to us and we all enjoyed sitting on the decking in the glorious sunshine, whilst the children played with the ample toys supplied by the house.
The Kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would want and more! Everything was catered for right down to the last detail.
Sainsburys is a 5 minute walk and we managed to get everything we wanted for our mini break.
Would not hesitate to book again.
