Yummy hot scones, gorgeous French pastries, hot tea and an absolutely wonderful French couple running this little piece of France in the heart of Tenterden. We had such a lovely visit with our newborn baby (and family member’s giant dog) and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area! A very memorable part of our holiday on the Kent coast. The hosts are just outstanding and did everything to accommodate us not far off closing time. A delicious treat, we will definitely be returning if we find ourselves in the area again.

If you shut your eyes to the high street outside, you could easily imagine you'd arrived in France ... but without the effort and expense of taking the ferry or shuttle. You can even try out your rusty French, if you feel inclined. We really enjoyed our light lunch: the owners are friendly and the simple food delicious. Hope to visit again, merci bien.

We stopped for coffee, which was excellent. The French owners are charming and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended!

Did I go to the same place as the other reviewers and have the other reviewers ever been to France! Smallest cafe au lait in the world very average cheese and ham sandwich from plastic packets. The owners seem very nice but my experience was very very average.

What a lovely place to find this little Bistro & Delicatessen. The coffee was absolutely brilliant and the baguettes freshly made with a good choice of fillings, the cakes and pastries looked really inviting too. The place was very clean and tidy and on entering we were made very welcome by the owners Eric and Isabelle.
Overall excellent all round and look forward to visiting again really soon and would highly recommend to others.
