What a fantastic meal, we went for the feed me option. £20 quid a head we got prawns, sea bass, bream , mushroom bruschetta steak, chicken, salad and chips. Absolutely delicious, lovely staff, great wines. Just stunning!

We all have to accept meals sometimes that drop below our expected standards – and we move on. However having attended a 40th birthday celebration for a very special man last night (Saturday, 30th September 2017) which fell below standards significantly lower than acceptable sometimes you have to feed back.
Arriving to the doors not actually being open the evening went downhill...thankfully buoyed by the 40th birthday hosts and other guests. The bar was ineffective (only bottled beer and soft drinks) and staff at best not sure what was happening...perhaps more to do with lack of staff...2 for c50 people drinking and eating.
When the first course came out there was barely enough to share out (no individual serving) and with little explanation many dishes were whipped away as “other tables didn’t have enough” without checking whether we had. Same for main meal. One person on our table had their preferred chocolate brownie sweet and when asked if others on the table could have were told they had run out. Briefly had a sight of some melons but again were whipped away unceremoniously for others who had not had any.
All this for £25 per head!! I would have felt aggrieved at £25 for our whole table of 9!! After discussions and complaints this was reduced to £20 per head...with around 50 people present you do the maths...quite profitable for a poor service.
At least give the hosts the cost of their meals back. For me one of very few establishments which are on my list never to return to!

Have had a few meals here in the past during the evening and the food has always been good but staff never particularly great however Sunday lunch was a complete let down miserable rude unhelpful staff the beef was overlooked, tough and chewy, the lamb was fatty and overdone and there was no Yorkshire pudding, mint sauce or horseradish definitely wouldn't return for a Sunday lunch!!

Have visited this Resturant numerous occasions over the past 5 years, disappointed with the food of late same old same old. On Saturday we were aparty of 10 for a birthday celebration staff extremely rude and unhelpful to the point of telling us that we should eat somewhere else as one of the table we where sitting at was inadequate! Not the sort of attitude you would expect from staff if the customer was not pleased . Need to teach the staff what customer relation means as they clearly do not know how to deal with the public and their needs?

We went there as a family of 5. The service was abrupt and although I had looked at the website they did not really explain what we were ordering. We opted for the lamb, steak and sea bass. It arrived with salad, chips and green vegetables and a garlic dip to die for. The food was incredibly tasty- and all bowls were emptied! Puddings on the other hand were poor quality - chocolate brownie, plum and almond tart or pear and almond tart. I think you could have bought better at a supermarket and cream served in a metal gravy boat!
Staff were not very helpful- There were no lights in the female toilets- and despite saying twice about no lights- this was not rectified- we just got- "there should be". We also had to remind them about the wine we ordered as well- which came to the table with the screw top lids still on.
The bill- mmmm- website states £25 for a 3 course meal with coffee. We had 2 courses with no coffee for this price. Had we had any sort of menu we might have understood- but there were no menus. This place could be great- but with a little more thought and effort.
