What can I say, keeping it brief. This is a traditional fishing location in Kent, specialising in Oysters - available freely from various locations around the high street. There is great eateries, charity shops and independent traders to browse.

We had a walk along the town. Lots of charity shops, a food market in the school. Plenty of atmosphere here. Spoons was packed full of people, some great places to eat from.

Whitstable is small town with a lovely character to it. I really like the walk along the seafront looking out to sea. Oysters are big business in Whitstable and a number of businesses can be seen along the front, along with the oyster catchers in the sea at low tide. There are also some good quality charity shops for those who enjoy a bargain! Worth a visit

My boyfriend is thinking of moving to the area and I think he wants me to like the place too. Being a londoner it's a cute little town with great independent shops and restaurants. But quiet for my liking though.
